Locks,Cages and Train Tracks
Have you ever had one of those weeks where you really have to ask: What the heck was going on?! I wish I could say it was everyone else that had gone a little bonkers, but it was me as well, I can't lie to you. It started out with me being locked in a cage, in the basement of my place of work. Yes, locked in a CAGE! I won't go deep into how it happened( because it makes me look really dumb and you don't need that thought in your head) but I will say this: I built a mountain of crates to get over the cage wall and as I went to swing one leg over... My Vagina spoke to me! In a faint, but clear voice, I heard: "Do you not see how narrow that ledge is my dear? Are you really going to straddle that? Let's take a moment Dawn dear to think about this and the pain that will be there after your balancing act." How did I get out? I screamed until another Trainer heard me. I will never live this one down. Twice this past week I have been blocked by cars on train tracks. Not because the drivers in front of me didn't have enough room to move up, they just wouldn't move! I gesticulated and beeped, yet, on both occasions, no one moved. "I am going to be squashed like a bug! I shouted, but I wasn't. I have been told things, private things, that maybe in any other week, they wouldn't have ever told me. But, like I said, this has been an odd week, as if we have had a perpetual full moon that we just don't see. To balance the craziness around me, I resorted to doing more Yoga and possibly an extra glass of wine. What did I learn from this week? The moral? 1. Don't lose your cool! It takes hours and copious amounts of wine to get it back.
2. Always save your Privates. They are important.
3. Keep your upper body fit. You might get locked in a cage and have to climb out.
4. Your day can always be turned around( especially when you don't get hit by a train!) Just because your week doesn't start well, doesn't mean it won't end well. Change your attitude, laugh about it and live another day.
Wishing you Peace and Love, but mostly Peace
