I'm Not Lying! You Can Lose The Weight

  "Don't make it harder than it is." Me. For the longest time, I have listened to people talk about weight loss as if it can not be done without full-on drama. The Fitness Industry, being the biggest propagator of this fallacy. Now, you might be asking yourself, "Why is Dawn, The Trainer, writing this? Isn't she part of the Fitness Industry?"  Yes. Yes, I am.  I was also really big at one time. It's a both sides of the fence type of thing.  And believe me, this blog isn't going to stop the Fitness Industry from enjoying the $25.6 billion it made in 2021(projected to jump 26% to earn $114.3 billion in revenue by 2028). Nor do I want people to stop getting fit.  I want you to get fit in a healthy, using common sense type of way. Where Tape Worms aren't placed in your intestines(yeah! that's made a resurgence). Being Black, A Woman & Why & How I Have Peace

We must learn how to live in the space of inner peace in our everyday lives. This takes consistent, conscious effort because I know so many black women are hurting and sad, and we don't easily express our heartache or show our wounds.  Susan L. Taylor I have peace. I told a total stranger on Twitter that I was going to write about how to have inner - peace. Because getting it isn't easy. It takes work! It takes dedication and a willingness to walk away from anything and anyone that will not take your peace seriously. The question is always "How do I gain and keep my peace?" But the real question is: What are you willing to do to get peace? Seriously! Who and what are you willing to give up to have peace? I can only speak as a Black Woman. It's who I am.
