I'm Not Lying! You Can Lose The Weight

Me.
For the longest time, I have listened to people talk about weight loss as if it can not be done without full-on drama.
The Fitness Industry, being the biggest propagator of this fallacy.
Now, you might be asking yourself, "Why is Dawn, The Trainer, writing this? Isn't she part of the Fitness Industry?"
Yes. Yes, I am.
I was also really big at one time. It's a both sides of the fence type of thing.
And believe me, this blog isn't going to stop the Fitness Industry from enjoying the $25.6 billion it made in 2021(projected to jump 26% to earn $114.3 billion in revenue by 2028). Nor do I want people to stop getting fit.
I want you to get fit in a healthy, using common sense type of way. Where Tape Worms aren't placed in your intestines(yeah! that's made a resurgence). Or you aren't eating real food but depending solely on protein shakes and exercise to lose weight. Where you aren't eating baby food, soaking cotton balls in juice, and swallowing them! These are all real things that some are doing. Take my word for it, nothing has to be this extreme.
Do you know that most people don't know how to eat healthily?
It is a lost art.
There are so many reasons behind this. The biggest being, people having to work... a lot.
So, eating fast food has become the "food" most people give themselves and their children.
Today is the day we stop.
If you are serious about losing weight, you must cook your own food.
And I don't want to hear "Dawn, I don't have the time"(insert whiney voice)We all get the same 24 hours! And we also have the Crockpot.
The Crockpot, I am sure, was created by someone who needed to lose weight and worked two jobs. I totally made that up, but you get my drift. We have wonderful Slow Cookers, Pressure Cookers, Air Fryers, etc. Just to make our lives easier.
There are no excuses.
But you don't have any excuses, do you?
Because you are ready for change.
Let's get started:
1. What is your weekly Fitness Goal?
2. Empty all triggers(cookies, soda, just wholesale crap)from your refrigerator, cupboard, bedroom drawers(I know the hiding places!)car!
3. Write a meal plan
4. Grocery shop (getting only what you need for your meal plan!)Put that ice cream down!
5. Be proud of yourself
Can you do this?
Yes, you can.
The only drama in this simple plan is the drama that you bring.
Ask for help if you need it.
There is no shame in that.
